David LaMotte is the author of two illustrated children’s books, and is working on a non-fiction book for adults on citizen engagement.
White Flour
Inspired by true events in May of 2007, White Flour tells a story of humor conquering hatred. This was the day that the Ku Klux Klan met the Coup Clutz Clowns. It is an instructive and inspiring tale of a Third Way, illustrating that there are more creative responses to hatred and bigotry than fight or flight, and doing so in Seussian rhyme.
With beautiful, humorous and nuanced illustrations by Jenn Hales that perfectly balance the story’s intrinsic humor with the seriousness of the issues it addresses, the book is generating quite a buzz.
The book is hardcover, and is printed on heavy, FSC-certified responsibly harvested paper with at least 10% post-consumer content, printed in Canada. eBook versions that support audio include David LaMotte reading the poem.

Worldchanging 101
Worldchanging 101 is an encapsulation of workshops that David LaMotte has offered since the late 1990s. In it, he shares stories and insights from his work and travels in Guatemala, India, the West Bank and Bosnia, as well as stories from everyday activists in the U.S. He methodically challenges some of our commonly held, but seldom examined, ideas about how large scale social change happens, and what our roles in it may be.
Worldchanging 101 is as yet unfinished. Look for a release date in 2013.

Thanks, David,, for helping me with my copies of White Flour.
hugs,
Janice
I don’t think the shopping bag is working, at least not for me. Please let me know when I can order White Flour. Thanks!
Susan
Hi Susan, thanks for the heads up. I saw your correspondence with my web guy, Chris, and then saw that your order went through. I hope the books will show up quickly and that you’ll be happy with them. Be sure to let me know, eh?
