Thank you for your interest in joining David’s Changing Your World retreat! Here are the answers to our most frequently asked questions.
I live in the area. Can I commute to the retreat, rather than staying with everyone else?
David spends a great deal of time on the road and does understand the desire to stay in the comfort of one’s home. However, one focus of the retreat is to build a community. Sharing meals and space with the rest of the group will help facilitate that bond. All participants, and David, will be staying at the retreat site for the weekend (even though David has a very cute seven-year-old three miles away!).
I have dietary restrictions, will they be accommodated?
Yes. Prior to the retreat, you will receive a questionnaire via email. Among other things, we will be inquiring about your dietary needs, and we will do our best to provide just what you need.
I have limited mobility. Will the retreat center and lodging have handicapped accessibility?
Yes. One of the criteria for a retreat location is handicapped accessibility. We will also ask you about your mobility on the questionnaire.
Can I split the cost of the retreat over multiple payments?
Yes. We are happy to split the cost into smaller payments. Please contact Barbie to discuss options.
Is this a religious retreat?
No. While David is a person of faith, this retreat is not a faith-based event. Sunday morning will offer an hour for folks to attend a local church, or to join David in a Quaker service, or to just spend a little time on your own.
Please contact Barbie Angell in David’s office if you have any additional questions/concerns which are not answered here.
