We had so much fun at our sold-out show in Asheville in February that we were all eager to book another one — but where to play next?
Clearly, what we needed was a concert promoter named David.
Happily, concert promoter David Sardinha is the curator of a wonderful concert series in Cary, North Carolina, an easy ride from Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill, and a great destination for a road trip from farther away. We will be playing at the beautiful Cary Arts Center at 8PM on July 11, and we can’t wait! Tickets are now on sale, but we expect that they will not be for too long.
The feedback from February’s show at Diana Wortham was overwhelmingly positive. People were surprised that we all played together for nearly the whole night, and didn’t simply take turns. David Holt, who has spent much of his career sharing songs written by others, showcased his own writing, and David Wilcox and I enjoyed the rare synergy of working in a real band context (we had five four-hour rehearsals together before the show, so we had time to really dial in our playing together and tailor the song arrangements to this particular constellation of musicians).
Keep in touch to make sure you hear about more Three Davids shows in the future, but with all three of us keeping up heavy tour schedules on our own, they will be special treats when they happen. With that in mind, you may want to make plans to join us on July 11 in Cary! Click here to buy your tickets.
Hope to see you there!
David

Hooray!! See you there!
Yes, Facebook has cut me off. It’s a strange phenomenon. At any rate, thrilled that you can make the show!
