Shannon Webster says
David: This was fabulous! I’ve heard several different parts of that in different ways and different places, but I loved how it came together in this way in that place, with clarity and congruence. A work in progress will do that, as you know, and I heard clearly the good news of your life’s work here. And you *do* know how to hold a stage and communicate, of course. I guess what I want to say most is that what you are saying/teaching/singing/bringing is of utmost importance in this world right now, and I’ve not heard anyone else with exactly this tune, even though many of us are working in our different ways, (I’ve reached the point where I have to decide how to do this in retirement, now). Keep on bringing it, brother!
David LaMotte says
Thanks so much, Shannon! I’m honored to be standing in the same circle with you, doing the work that seems to be ours to do. Always great to hear from you. Blessings,
David
Ron Katz says
Inspirational, as always. I so appreciated the difference between unity and harmony. Very apt in our world always, but especially today, when some people (maybe all of us) don’t appreciate the differences and how they can make the world better.
David LaMotte says
Thanks so much, Ron!

What a great ‘talk’ just prior the the Martin Luther King, Jr. observance. Will share this with friends and family, and look forward to seeing you at the East Region APCE event in the spring!

David,
Your TEDx was amazing!
I would love to share it at Rotary meetings, with your permission.
Thanks!
David LaMotte says
Thanks so much, John! Of course, this is absolutely public, and you are welcome to share it anywhere you like. I’m particularly happy for Rotarians to hear my gratitude in the talk. 🙂

Beautiful, David. Much to think about. I am sure our Quaker Meeting in Fairbanks, Ak will be using this for a discussion prompt. I’ll let you know when and how it goes.
David LaMotte says
Thanks much, Sharon. I look forward to getting back up your way when the time is right, and I’m glad I can virtually visit through a video in the meantime.

I saw you perform White Flour at a youth conference at Moranch in Hunt, TX, bought a book and you autographed it. I loaned it to teachers and eventually did not get it back. I am a paraprofessional in Special Education and I think this book will be understood by our students.
David LaMotte says
Wonderful, Judie. Thanks for doing that important work. Be sure to check out the study guides for White Flour at http://www.whiteflourbook.com/teachers/ They are free downloads. I hope they will be useful!
Best,
David
